We start by analyzing your reading, writing, listening and speaking tasks your employees are expected to perform and we will determine language levels that would be necessary to be successful in your organization. Then we meet with your recruiting and leadership team to show you how knowing candidate language levels improve new hire selection, on-boarding, health & safety training, and daily communication with employees for whom English is not the first language.
You'll be asked to provide a few language task samples to be analyzed ahead of time to inform this discussion. For example, forms employees fill out, Instructions or manuals they are expected to read and follow, an auditory clip of a health and safety or similar video, information they may be asked to verbally pass on to the next shift.
Together we will build understanding of language levels required for your workplace and establish minimum levels for success.
